Paul Huffman is the Executive Director at Talenthunt, North America's leading building materials talent agency. With decades of experience in talent acquisition at prominent organizations like Stanley Black and Decker, and having partnered with industry leaders such as Home Hardware, CertainTeed, and Doman, Paul brings unparalleled insight and compassion to the field.

He recognized the inherent flaws in traditional hiring and succession planning within the building materials sector. Now, his mission is clear: to transform outdated hiring practices and elevate the Building Materials Industry into a "destination employer."

When he's not revolutionizing talent acquisition, you can find Paul in hockey rinks across the province, dedicated to developing the next generation of hockey greats.

Scott Ride

Scott Ride is the President of Hillman Canada, where he is at the forefront of delivering innovative hardware solutions and home improvement products. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Scott plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's vision and growth.

Prior to joining Hillman, Scott made significant strides as the President of Husqvarna Canada, where he was instrumental in expanding the company's presence in the outdoor power equipment sector. His strategic insights and collaborative approach helped foster strong relationships within the industry.

Scott is a highly respected leader across North America, bringing a wealth of experience in leadership, sales, and operations from his time at Maytag and as President at Electrolux. He also proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Home Products Trade Association (CHPTA).

Donna Gerrits

Donna is a dynamic and results-driven leader with extensive experience in the Building Supply Industry. With more than 30 years of experience within the industry, Donna has become a trusted advisor to senior management in Sales & Marketing, Market Positioning and driving Strategic Profitable Growth.

Having led many teams during her years, Donna understands the challenges in recruiting the right people for the position and the importance of hiring for culture, which expands further into retention through strategic succession planning.

Donna is recently retired and is enjoying the fruits of her labour which includes time with her family, lots of golf and working on her gardens.

Andrew Gladstone

Andrew Gladstone is a results-driven sales executive with over 17 years of leadership experience in account management, business development, and strategic sales across the manufacturing, consumer goods, and building materials industries. As the Vice President of Sales at M-D Canada, he leads national teams and drives multichannel growth across retail, pro, and commercial markets.

Andrew previously held senior sales roles at Onward Manufacturing, MTD Products (now Stanley Black & Decker), and Husqvarna, delivering sustained growth in Canada, the U.S., and international markets. He holds an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and previously graduated from the University of Aberdeen and the University of Guelph. He is also an active community board member with the Guelph Wish Fund for Children. He resides in Guelph, Ontario, with his family.

Bernie Gauthier

Bernie Gauthier is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the building supply industry. Currently serving as Vice President Rona Dealers Operations. Bernie brings a wealth of expertise spanning retail leadership, manufacturing, and vendor management. His career journey includes pivotal roles such as Store Manager, Vice President of Sales and Development for a leading manufacturer, and Director of Pressure Treated and Siding at a major vendor.

Widely respected across the industry, Bernie has played a key role in helping companies grow into national vendors, consistently demonstrating a results-driven approach and a commitment to operational excellence. Known for his hands-on leadership style, he leads by example and fosters a culture of accountability and performance.

Outside of his professional life, Bernie is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, and golf. He is a proud father of two and grandfather to four, cherishing time spent with his family in Northern Ontario.

Adam Malolepszy

Adam Malolepszy is a highly accomplished and results-oriented commercial leader with extensive experience in the Canadian market across multiple sales channels. He is known for his innovative strategic thinking, consistently achieving results, and challenging the status quo. With a track record of award-winning sales leadership, Adam has delivered tangible results in highly competitive industries by implementing effective channel and business development strategies.

Currently, Adam serves as the Sr. Vice President and Market Leader at Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), a position he has held since 2018. Adam also sits on the board of C.H.P.T.A.
